Based on My Little Boys, a book of essays by Taiwanese writer Yi-Chin Lo, A-Nee-Gu began as an animated series.

It has since grown into the most extensively developed original family IP adapted from Taiwanese literature—expanding into books, music, theater, and more—with international recognition and numerous awards.
