布嵐的販賣部創立於我大一的暑假，布嵐兩個字源自於台灣人常說的口頭禪『啊不然勒』，也是我常常說的一句話，於是我把這句話改成『啊布嵐勒』，說這句話的時候好像在找布嵐，也好像事情都是順理成章會發生，很平常也很重要，布嵐無時無刻都能伴你左右。
The name "BuLan" comes from a common Taiwanese expression "Ah bu ran leh," which I often say. I then changed it to "Ah Bran leh." When saying this phrase, it sounds like we're looking for Bran, and it also implies that things naturally fall into place, feeling both ordinary and significant. Bran can be with you at all times.
