Exhibition introduction

Have you ever felt this moment?

A sudden longing for certain things, a journey, a state of being.
An image that returns again and again, as if it has already taken place somewhere within you.

Perhaps these are not merely expectations for what has yet to happen.
Perhaps there is another possibility:
the future you is already there.

Already departed.
Already standing on that coast.
Already carrying the memory of that place.

The thoughts that keep rising in the present may be signals transmitted back from the future self.

The sea—a vessel of subconscious currents and emotional tides.
It crosses borders, connects regions, and carries what cannot be fully spoken.

Taking the coastal journey as its point of departure, Future Travel Agency: IN TRANSIT dissolves the linear structure of time, allowing past, present, and future to converge within the same space

Inside C-LAB, each small room becomes a station of transmission across time and space. From Future Arrival Check-in to Sea Condition Tuning Cabin, The Blue Passage, Sea-Flavour Transfer Station, and Signals to the Future, visitors move through collected images, layered creations, and sensory fragments, gradually forming a bodily memory of a journey that seems to have already happened.

Moving through these rooms is not a preparation for travel.
It is the act of wandering, right here, right now.

Here, action begins when imagination crosses into reality.
The destination is not ahead of us.
It has already arrived within us.now.

Li Ming, the Design Director of Block Studio, participates in the creation of "Island Conditions: Tuning in Sync" as an artist, leading the Block Studio team. Centering on the theme of island conditions, the work reinterprets the perceptual relationship between humans and the environment through an immersive spatial experience. At the core of the artwork is the Tuning Cabin, which translates environmental data—such as sea conditions, navigation routes, and weather—into a fluid spatial narrative. This invites viewers to sketch their own travel imaginations while exploring the space.
