“Nuno”是日文”布”的意思; “Tao”,則是”道”。中文的諧音格為”步道”, 亦即以”一步一腳印”的理念, 以”從布起步走, 創意無限走”的品牌slogan, 強調在地設計、在地材料與在地做工，重塑在地材的新視野。nunotao運用不同媒材與茄芷結合，期待重塑茄芷的新視力，展現茄芷的當代風貌。
