“100 Faces of Formosan Rolling Craft” Featuring five major exhibition areas and four days of seminars and activities, the special exhibition explores the future, present, and past of crafts. The exhibition areas include: “Beauty – Any 'Thing' Is Possible” that displays the collision of crafts, sustainability, and technology; “Love – Good Objects Make You Fall in Love with Life” that discovers the spectrum of crafts in life; “Land – Blossoming Wonders of the Land” explores craft clusters; “Extension – Showcase of Craft Brands” highlights the beauty of Taiwan’s contemporary craft design; “Link – Taking Place under Rolling Wheel” features exciting sharing and international exchanges.

✦ Ever-Rolling Wheel of Crafts ✦

In our life, crafts propel the giant wheel of culture to continuously roll.
Using craft techniques, a 12-meter giant wheel of crafts is built, and all kinds of exciting activities will take place at the square under it! Craft masters are invited to demonstrate, share, and lead craft DIY activities, while arrangements are made for international craftsmen and designers to exchange and interact onsite, presenting the “current moment” that “carries on the past” and “welcomes the future” through diverse activities. In our daily life, crafts propel the giant wheel of culture to continuously “roll” forward.

“Extension – Showcase of Craft Brands” selects 15 certified brands of NTCRI to showcase innovative and industrial potentials, highlighting the beauty of Taiwan’s contemporary craft and bringing crafts into daily life. Using people as the core value, craft techniques and culture are woven together to discover diverse applications of natural materials, pursuing the perfect balance between product aesthetics and practicality. Through comprehensive brand concept, craft production and market consumption are connected to create value and enrich life.
