Taiwan's connection with the ocean is inseparable. Throughout different periods, people from all over the world have crossed the seas to this land, discovering various novel things and adding unique cultural landscapes to this small island.

The "Discover Formosa!" exhibition area collaborates with renowned mural artist Chen Yu-An, using large-scale murals and graffiti to introduce Taiwan's geography and culture in an accessible way. The exhibition also encourages visitors to unleash their creativity, deepening their understanding of Taiwanese culture.

The "Still Life Theater" exhibition in Tainan invites audiences to join mangoes, wax apples, and custard apples on stage, exploring their profound connection with Taiwan. As the Fruit Kingdom, Taiwan's relationship with these fruits and the Netherlands is fascinating. Taiwan is also known as a technology island, where archaeological ceramics and technology create new sparks. During the Dutch East India Company's rule in Taiwan (1624–1662), many foreign fruits were introduced, becoming integral to local cuisine. The development of these fruits reflects Taiwan's agricultural advancements and cultural integration.

Curatorial Team:Walking Grass Agriculture

Started in 2014 as a team focuses on visual art, design and curation. The main members are Han-Sheng CHEN and Hsing-You LIU, specialised in new media art and art history. Emphasise in resident experience and observation, full of interest in learning folk arts and its migration and generation. Their research combines the topography, modernology and material culture, moulding the farming experience into their own artistic methods. In recent years, they concern about the ecological environment, urban changes and gender issue.
